After identity fest i felt sooooo dirty…OMG GUYS. PORT-A-POTTIES. NOT YOUR FRIENDS. as soon as i got home, i took a shower, exfoliated, scrubbed, body-washed, lathered, shampooed, conditionered, moisturized, YOU NAME IT, then did my nails. i literally took off a layer of EVERYTHING. music festivals ROCK, but TOIILLLEETTSSS!
ANYWAYS, because i felt like i needed to be super clean, i gave myself a SUPER GIRLY manicure. SO out of my usual style, i kinda like it but its day 2 and lets be frank, there’s only so long i can sport pink and flowers on my nails haha. ALSO i fixed up my bike today and now the white is all dirty from bike grease. pink? flowers? me? PAH! I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR!
hey y’all! new mani. i wasnt inspired by anything, i was just sort of going with the flow and i LOVE how it turned out. i was going to identity fest in toronto so i wanted something fun, summery, and that screamed ‘RAVE WARRIOR PRINCESS’, (angie can attest to that particular conversation’s train of thought. it was funny. i swear).
also, DONT JUDGE ME, the base colour is OPI nicole by justin bieber’s “my lifesaver”. i borrowed it from my sister (sshh, dont tell her, apparently younger siblings have MAJOR issues with sharing), along with her black & white striper. she’s a major justin bieber fan, so i actually got her the polish for her birthday. i mean, for gods sake, she has a LIFE-SIZE CUTOUT OF HIM IN HER ROOM. actually. its just a LIFE-SIZE FACEPALM.
hey y’all! so i’m on a field course right now, aka i can’t do my nails for two weeks :( i figure this is a badly-needed detox though, my nails haven’t seen the light of day for longer than like 10 hours at a time in the past few months. SOOOOO bad for them…but SO. SO. GOOD.
this mani is one i did for christina. ever since i started the blog, whenever i go to my friends’ houses they want me to do their nails for them! i love it cuz i get to practice and take pictures and put their pretty hands all over this tumblr, and they love it cuz they love me. i mean my nails. i mean me.
ANYWAYS this is definitely one of my cuter ones, the watermelon is just soo perfect for summer!! i think im going to do this on all my nails soon. PAINT ALL THE NAILS! after my field course, that is. it’s been like two days and i never want to see forest ever again.
heyyy heyyy! after doing such a fierce, geometric, colourful mani, i wanted to do something that was more demure. so i grabbed my most modest orange and threw some green and black on my super-long obnoxious nails. “demure”…me? LOLZ, that’s as demure as it gets!
this one kind of reminds me of marie antoinette stylez. i don’t know why…maybe its the fact that it uses a delicate pastel pattern with black? well anyways, we all know she was the original bad bitch (take note, nicki minaj, and study lil kim while you’re at it) so i love this one long time!!

howdy, gangsters! check out these sweet neon pink and green fade nails! they remind me of happiness and sunshine and watermelon candies and summer. UNLIKE the pissy weather in kingston right now. i swear the atmosphere over here has menopause, guys.
did this with a sponge, just like the last tiger-stripe ones i did, it was super easy. adding a top coat really helps to blend all the colours together. i like that the fade is not 100% gradual, it looks like i did it with that spray-paint tool in microsoft paint. LOL GUYS REMEMBER MICROSOFT PAINT? HAHAHAHA
NEON NEON NEON NEONNNN!!! so christina calls me this morning and is all ‘come over because i have something i think you’ll really like’, and so i go over with some tims and i see NEON ORANGE nail polish that glows under blacklights. and i was all:

and now i have the most awesome nails that kind of look like traffic pylons, but in THE MOST AWESOME WAY. MY NAILS PRACTICALLY GLOW IN THE DAYLIGHT, MOTHERFUCKERS.

it was super easy, but it has the coolest mod look! the hot pink really pops against the brown and the black, i love it! also, YES, the dark part is IN FACT a stripe of brown and a stripe of black. you can kind of see it in the pics, but it looks great in the daylight. also the pics really don’t do the hot pink any justice, because in actuality they are OBNOXIOUS AS FUCK. each one is like a little mini-me :D
This is a mani i did a couple of days ago using the 77-cent nail polish from urban. wooooo sale items!! WOOO!! since i am obsessive about having the most elaborate, borderline tacky manis these days, i went ahead and added some polka dots in magenta and a really subtle neon yellow that i also got at urban (ahahah, ‘subtle neon yellow’ is really an excellent oxymoron!).
the colours looked amazing together, and i love that you need to come pretty close to see the neon yellow. this peachy colour is just PEACHY! HAR HAR HAR! also, i say “looked”, because its been like 2 days since i did those ones so OBVIOUSLY i have a new mani on already. pics to come!
